J.T. Dean
J.T. Dean is the president of Versova Management and Center Fresh Group. In this role, he leads the company through talent acquisition, goal setting, strategy development, business planning and new business development, customer relations, industry relations, industry development and partner relations.
Throughout his career, J.T. has worked in nearly all areas of the egg processing business, including the management of chicken houses, packaging eggs, working in construction management, operating feed mills and breaking plants, and managing farms. Before joining Center Fresh Group as general manager in 2004, J.T. served as a breaking plant manager at Rembrandt.
J.T. attended Iowa State University and the University of Iowa studying computer engineering and business. He is on the board of the Iowa Poultry Association, serving as both the outgoing president and chairman of the Legislative Committee. He also serves on the board of the United Egg Producers as chairman of the Animal Welfare Committee and secretary of the Executive Committee. He also is a member of the Avian Influenza Global Taskforce for the International Egg Commission.
